Let me tell you all about the DIRTY 30..

Happy Tuesday!!! Everyone!!

Again another long work week at the JOB...  crazy 360 degree commute around Las Vegas all week and again a WONDERFUL weekend.. Well Friday I went out with Sheara and had a great night FREE DRINKS is a BAD BAD thing.. lol

 So the rule is FREE drinks from 11-12am ummm that seems like a short time, but really its FOREVER... I was able to throw back 4 drinks and it was only 11:15pm WTHeck.. Right.. So it was time to step away from the bar and on to the dance floor.. SO I was nice and buzzed and getting my dance on.. but then I notice it was only 11:45pm.. since it FREE might as well get 1 more just to get right/wrong depending on your view point.. LOL.

Well while at the bar we Met 2 ladies from Vancouver 1 celebrating her divorce and her friend just on for the ride.. I'm thinking if I ever got divorced I don't think it would be a time for partying? Drinking, yes.... Partying, no. So we headed back to the dance floor and didn't step off until it was time to go...  GREAT NIGHT!!! Picked up hubby and we headed home..



Saturday hubby, kiddo and I headed over to My Aunts for some family time.. Then off to work for him and Party Time for me!! LOL

My cousin Allen's 30th Birthday party with a theme PJ/ playboy bunny party.. I am a shy young lady... NO REALLY I AM.. I was a tad bit nervous about going to the party.. My hubby was working my friend Yisa was busy... I had no one to go with me.. But I said forget cause I didn't want to miss celebrating my cousin BIG day!! So I got Dolled up

 And I headed out.. I'm not much of a fan of house parties but I know my family would keep me safe and sound.. So my hubby was cool and I had no worries.. I thinking it was going to be a quite little party BUT MAN O BOY WAS I WRONG!!! LOL..

Well my "little" Cousin (since I'm older by 5 months) is a DJ, DjSplinta... And this is a DJ FOLKS!!! I wasn't surprised he's my cousin TALENT runs in the family!! LOL

I was just complaining about VEGAS DJ's living in the YESTERYEARS.. Can 't go to a club now a days and here a song that's being played on the radio... Just CRAP they been playing on the radio since I was in high school at the 18 and older spots C'mon SON!! If I hear "never had a love like this before... with the do you have 20 dollar bill put your hands up" I'ma Kick the Dj in the head!!

Neways!! Man he was spinning the Hits and I enjoyed the set... I couldn't dance cause these boys/men was on the hunt!! lol So I held up the wall... (Note not the normal me) and sipped on my drank and watched as everyone dance.. and thats when the innocent party turned to HOTNESS!!! Val my cousin wife announced that a "Make it rain contest" was about to go down!!! And that's when it WENT CRAZY!!!

So the Game was all about  Dancing and seeing who get the most FAKE money in the end... Umm so it was super funny, All I could think of was REALLY you doing all this shaking and grinding and you just going to win a prize maybe?!?! ummm NOT THE KID (meaning me) So I just sat back and took pictures and laughed yes took pictures cause the hubby would have never believed me!!

Well after the craziness I hung out and danced and laughed and talked with my cousin and some of his really good friends.. All in all it was a GGGRRRReat day/night early am !!!

So on to FAMILY day Sunday.. While my hubby slept the day away after getting home at 10am from work WELL OVER 16 hrs poor babe!! My son and I headed to gather the family together and go SWIMMING yay! I've been wanting to go for a few weekends and FINALLY we made it.. and a bonus with all my love ones!!! Lucky me!! :)

So we hung out at the pool for awhile and I watched as my 10 year son no longer need me.. he was no longer begging to ride on my back and afraid to let go of my hand... (oh no the water works are starting :'( ... He's making friends and going down a slide he was so afraid of..  Man o boy.. I'm so not ready for him to stand alone.. Instead of letting him take his first step at 9 months I should have tripped him!!! LOL..

Well after all that Hubby and I headed out for a Dinner and some QTime!! Loved it.. He talked and laughed and it was so nice even got in to a convo about women being single mother and raising a boy to be a man when a woman has no idea what its like for a man to feel like a man... but thats a subject for a different blog..

The Weekend...

Happy Tuesday all my blog readers..

Well let me tell you about my wonderful weekend... FRIDAY my "Boss"s Anniversary so Ms. Sheara was off and left me all alone.. but I made if though with a smile on my face..

One of my best friends invited me to her birthday dinner Ms. Monica, Sushi Night!!! It was so fun and yummy.. BTW I love sushi!! Well Sitting at the table I thought about the first day I met Monica. She says to me, " If you wanna get a job here, and stay out of mess just keep your mouth shut and do what they tell you to do." Already trying to protect me and didn't even know me. Over the 9 months we work together we became close friends... She was spoiled by me and I was spoiled by her.. I think about all the fly by night friends I've had.. And through my good days my bad days she never left my side, and over the almost two years I haven't left hers either!! I love my Monica!! Well any who.. lol We ate drank and laughed the whole dinner took over three tables, it was great.. :) Then it was time to work off some of that Sushi. We went dancing at The Mayan Club.. Dancing and More DRINKING!! What a great way to end a long work week!!!

Next SATURDAY... another one of my amazing friends Ms. Tamra

invited me out for her going away get together.. and MAN did I have a BLAST!!!!

Tamra, I also met her the same time I met Monica at the same job.. and same thing she needed me and I was there for her. Now I need her and she's there for me.. She has decided it was best for her to leave Vegas and get away.. So we danced and drank and laughed the night away.... I cried as we hugged and parted ways but I know I will aways talk to her and I'm sure I will see her again.. No one can stay away from VEGAS.. lol

Then SUNDAY Father's Day.. After waking up with a KILLER headache trying to put the pieces of my Sunday early morning and how I got home.. I surprised the love of my life with a simple gift that had all my love wrapped into it.. And he loved it.. YAY ME!!! Lol.. Then off to an amazing lunch with my boys, Hubby, Father in Law and Brother in Law.. listen to them and laughing with and at them it was great one of those moments in life where you sit back and say WOW can I really be this lucky?! Yes, Yes I am..

After that we made our rounds and dropped the boys off, My son to his Dad, and His son to his Mom. TIME ALONE and we know just how to spend it.. SLEEP... Lol we slept the rest of the day away woke up around 10pm and was ready to step out...  Sheara and her Hubby invite us out to a Club called CatHouse in the YUCKY Luxor.. but is a nice club once you get inside.. I wasn't in the best of moods still tired and a little irritated cause I had to work 12 hours come monday morning and thinking I was probably making a bad choice but I losened up and started to enjoy myself made it home and got about 3 hours of sleep... and it was time to start of this WONDERFUL (postitvie thinking) week...

MONDAY was a crazy day just as I thought it would be... But I made it through with the help of my amazing co-worker Alma and Kat.. And Jenelle was back from her City hopping Vacation and remembered I'm a keychain freak and brought me one outside of Harry Reids's office.. LOVE... :)

A year ALREADY..

Well yesterday I received my One year review at my JOB... I'm like WHAT?!? Its been a year ALREADY.. Holey smokes.. lol where did the time go.. So my review was great as I knew it would be I'm a great worker not to blow my own horn.. (BEEP, BEEP) Lol.. I really enjoy my JOB some days are busy. Some days I feel over worker and drained, But some days I feel happy relaxed and laughed out.. I have an amazing work family which makes it all the better..

I have a lot of bosses, but I mainly focus on my "Boss" and my "Big Boss" lol Sheara my "boss" is our office manager and I'm her assistant. She is great, I liked her before I met her..( long story) and Bill my "Big Boss" I've never worked for any one like him in my life.. He makes you feel so appreciated everyday he tells me thank you and that I did a great job.. :) they're both funny, and fun to work with and we all have a goal and all work together to meet it.. and that's great!!

Then there's the other guys/gals... Jenelle amazing lady.. silly when she wants to be and she speaks her mind and she has a wonderful heart.. Kevin is a soft heart sweet guy that enjoys TO TALK.. The Techs.. Great people as well... Alma she is my work mom, I adore her... Kat she is super stylish and should be featured in someone magazine, my son thinks she is "super cool" cause she does head stands and other "awesome yoga moves", Blake is a newbie but fits in so well.. And Lastly there's Wade he's so quite and you would think he's shy but he's not... Sadly he will be leaving soon and a new tech will be start..

Well the JOB is the JOB the people make it easier to stay on those BAD CRAZY DAYS.. and I enjoy my co-workers and well as this JOB.. Heres to a YEAR!!! :)

Wowzers!!!

Well today was an interesting day.. I smiled a lot worked a lot, but I'm starting to feel like "Me" again. Hate to speak to soon so today was just a pretty good day. I sure did enjoy my ride home from work. Brittany and I rolling windows done radio loud feeling good..

So I did day 3 of the DVD work out.. and all I can SAY IS WHAT WAS I THINKING ABOUT!!!! What did I get myself into?! Sheesh it was rough I made it through around 11 mins and 50 secs left on the DVD I laid on the floor ready to give up and Shaun T with his sexy self said, "..Come on push through you can do it" I couldn't let him down.. LOL

Neways... I'm super tired and unable to move my WHOLE body hurts.. I just want to SLEEP, but I can't I have to wait for my love to get off so I can pick him up. One of the draw backs we are dealing with... down to one car..

I've been only seeing the glass EMPTY... Unable to view any positives in my life lately... But I'm starting to view the glass a bit different.. It is hard to race from one side of town to another back to another than to another... but THANK GOD we have one car to do it in instead of no car at all..

So I will enjoy and rest a little and wait for my lovee to call me..

The start of a new "Work-Out"

So on Monday I started a new work out called "INSANITY"

 and that it is... Well mind you I have had these DVD for about a year now.. I played around with them, but never fully used them to there potential. So since I put on about 10 POUNDS (aghhhhhhh) Enough is Enough!! Time for a change... So the work out states 60 day to a NEW YOU.. So I'm put this to test..

Well Monday, the first work out DVD was the "Fit test" to see where you are at the start of the work out program. AND MAN OH MAN am I out of shape... 15 minutes into the work out I thought I was about to DIE!!!! OXYGEN please!! But I made it through... The next day is  45 minutes of HECK SO for real HECK.. My WHOLE body is sore. I can't even image what day 3 has in store for me.. But I know what ever it is I will make it through.. Maybe LOL..

Let me introduce myself!!!

Well let me start off by saying thank you for reading my BLOG.. I have wrote a few and for some reason I end up given up on them, But I will be trying my hardest not to give in and give up on this one!! :)

Well First off my name is Anyika and I am married to a Floyd and together we have 2 amazing little boys. Our oldest is my son and he is 10 years old, and our youngest is his son 8 years old. We've had some dramatic changes within the last year and I have lost my spark. I am usually known as "The Ray of Sunshine" but lately I have been a "Cloud of Darkness". I have lost a lot of friends and I'm learning that they were not friends just users enjoying the ride. I stay less than 2 miles from some and you would think I life in another state. But we will discuss this more down the line..

I lost my way and for the next few months I will be finding my way back.. and writing my way through this journey... So sit back and relax and laugh with me be angry with me cry with me be surprised with me and many more..
